Welcome to First Steps Crime Scene Investigation events.

 

 

CSI Science

For a full school day 10–180 attendees in one fully practical event CSI Science  will directly involve every participating student working in small groups rotating through a minimum of 5 forensic sessions and investigating there own crime scene.  Our most popular event for all the right reasons   

 

 

CSI Bitesize

Where resources are limited we can present CSI Bitesize.

A 3 hour fully practical industry related workshop for 10– 90 students.

 

 

CSI PRACTICUM

Our industry themed workshop is an ideal solution large practical based large number events (180-250 attendees) all working in one large area. Giving attendees a practical introduction to the world of forensic science.

As well as the staggering amount of classroom equipment and variety of materials we have in the forensic sessions, we also stock 18 two dimensional crime scenes (our standard educational set) 8 three dimensional crime scenes (for BTEC and further educational events) and two feature sets (visually impressive ten meter square crime scene, for the serious investigators). Amongst the staff, our practitioners have various skills and expertise, we are able to cater for large events with our 4 practitioners, 2 crime scene operators and the event host and coordinator Vince Reeves. With years of experience in the field, all staff are fully trained to ensure your students have a fun, fact filled day. Feedback from schools tells us that we are good at what we do, we enjoy it, and our infectious enthusiasm and the quality of the event has and will continue to win over the toughest of crowds.

 

We will also provide careers information and certificates of attendance for all learners as well as evidence bags full of their own latent and three dimensional images gained throughout the day.
